Public Training

Ready to explore a brave new world in your work, or struggling with a niggling inner-critic? Explore brand-new ways of expressing your creativity that might startle even yourself!

Hone your skills, harness your creativity

When we work with humans, we never know what kind of curious thinker will emerge at the other end. Brave and bold, silly and sophisticated, daring and delightful. We can’t wait to find out.

This work is for performers + curious humans who want to develop craft, presence, and material through embodied clown and physical theatre training.

Some arrive curious.
Some arrive trained.
Some arrive mid-career and cracked open.

All are performers in the making.

This is public, stage-facing work held in group training spaces where risk, failure, and play are witnessed and transformed into craft.

An arm, an eye and a shape, balanced on each other in an abstract arrangement.
  • Coming from a background in improv and sketch comedy, I used to get stuck in my head, always trying to perform perfectly. Clowning changed everything for me. It’s physical, playful, and forces you into the present moment—exactly what I needed.

  • I’ve recommended Alicia to others—she’s the real deal, and you won’t find anyone like her in this country.

    Rosanna

  • It’s challenging work, even for experienced performers, but Alicia created a safe space where we could explore and express our truer selves without judgment.

    Tony

  • My main reasons for joining the class were to get out of my comfort zone, gain some control over my stage anxiety & connect to like minded buffoons..and I feel that over the last 80,640 minutes, I’ve accomplished that.. thanks to YOU!

    Matty

  • I had some really big creative breakthroughs. I am really feeling inspired and playful!

    Monica

  • It was such an incredible experience letting go of all inhibitions, being silly, laughing and crying at the same time, and being vulnerable and letting those emotions out for everyone else to see.
