If you’re looking to dig deeper into society’s hypocrisies and expose them with razor-sharp humour, then The Beautifool Entertainer is for you.

This workshop is an introduction to the powerful art of Bouffon— the rebellious, satirical cousin of clowning that uses mockery and parody to hold up a mirror to society’s flaws. Inspired by modern bouffon icons like Celeste Barber and Sacha Baron Cohen, this workshop will challenge you to poke fun at the hypocrisies of today’s world.

    Welcome to the glorious underbelly of theatre. Three full days of glorious chaos, parody, and provocation. You’ll explore the ridiculous, the grotesque, and the beautifully wrong, discovering the pleasure of misbehaviour and the power of mockery done with love.

    THE DEEP DIVE: MON 16 – TUES 17 MARCH 2026
    10am–3pm daily
    For the ones who can’t get enough. Two extra days to dig deeper, devise your own material, and bring your Bouffon beast to life. We’ll move from discovery into creation, shaping sketches, group work, and performance-ready pieces.
