One day a month, we gather to play, explore, and clown. Think of it as your monthly reset button - part training, part creative jam, part ridiculous release.

Now happening in two locations:

• Sydney (monthly Saturdays)

• Central Coast (monthly Sundays, in collaboration with Roundabout Circus)

Join us for a monthly escape into creative freedom, in a supportive community that celebrates your quirks. With regular chances to perform and grow, we give you professional guidance in the art of play to help you release your ridiculous and nurture your nonsense.

Clown Church: A Quarterly Jam

Every few months, we gather at ReadyMade Works in Sydney for a community jam - a space to try things out, mess around, and share whatever you’ve been cooking.

Bring your festival ideas, cabaret acts, clown numbers, audition pieces, or even a half-baked moment you’re not sure about yet. This isn’t about polished performance – it’s about having a stage to test, play, and discover in front of a warm and supportive audience.

What you’ll find:

• A low-pressure space to put something on its feet

• A generous audience ready to laugh with you

• A chance to develop your material in real time

• Optional photo and video documentation for your own use

  If you’ve got experience in acting, improvisation, circus or performance and you’re looking to expand your creativity – this class is for you.

  We’re teaming up with Roundabout Circus to bring the Playground closer to circus folk, Newcastle locals, and our Central Coast community. A short walk from Gosford station.
