Fool’s Playground

Performance experience required

For performers who want regular embodied training, play, and community to keep their work alive.

A year-long training ground for the brave, the ridiculous, and the creatively hungry.

One day a month, we gather to play, explore, and clown. Think of it as your monthly reset button - part training, part creative jam, part ridiculous release.

Now happening in three locations:

  • Sydney (monthly Saturdays at ReadyMade Works in Ultimo)

  • Gosford (monthly Sundays, in collaboration with Roundabout Circus)

  • Blackheath (monthly Saturdays, in collaboration with Bah-Hah)

Join us for a monthly escape into creative freedom, in a supportive community that celebrates your quirks. With regular chances to perform and grow, we give you professional guidance in the art of play to help you release your ridiculous and nurture your nonsense.

Timing, rhythm, stillness, risk, presence, vulnerability, play, stupidity, complicité.

A monthly deep-dive into:

  • Fixed point work

  • Audience connection

  • Status and tension

  • The poetic + the idiotic

  • Somatic clowning

  • The clown state

  • Creative intuition

  • Duo/ensemble play

  • Emotional absurdity

This is training for performers who want to get better.
Sharper. Softer. Wilder.
More themselves.
